Home Weatherization The Weatherization Program is funded by both Federal and State Government sources, such as the US Department of Energy. The Weatherization Program helps the elderly, handicapped, and economically disadvantaged individuals to reduce their heating costs while maintaining reasonable comfort in their homes. The program is designed to promote public awareness of the need for energy conservation. Spreading awareness is achieved through our Client Education Courses; these courses convey conservation practices and insights to Weatherization clients that are intended to enhance the life and efficiency of their homes.
